Eurowings

Eurowings is a German low-cost carrier and subsidiary of Lufthansa Group, operating scheduled and charter flights across Europe and to select long-haul destinations. Founded in 1993, the airline has grown significantly through the absorption of routes and assets from Germanwings, which was phased out in 2015. Based in Düsseldorf, Eurowings serves over 100 destinations across more than 50 countries, with major hubs at Düsseldorf, Stuttgart, Hamburg, and Cologne/Bonn airports. The airline targets budget-conscious travelers while benefiting from Lufthansa Group's operational support. In recent years, Eurowings expanded further by integrating operations from former Air Berlin routes and acquiring Brussels Airlines flying activities under the Eurowings brand. It competes directly with Ryanair and easyJet in the European low-cost segment.
