Don Mueang International Airport is one of the world's oldest commercial airports, serving Bangkok, Thailand. Located approximately 24 kilometres north of the city centre, it reopened as a major international airport in 2007 after Suvarnabhumi Airport took over as Bangkok's primary hub. Today, Don Mueang primarily serves low-cost carriers and handles a significant volume of domestic and regional international traffic. It is a key hub for airlines such as Thai AirAsia, Thai Lion Air, and Nok Air, making it one of the busiest airports in Southeast Asia by passenger volume. The airport has undergone multiple expansion projects to cope with growing passenger demand, with annual traffic regularly exceeding 40 million passengers in pre-pandemic years. Its proximity to northern Bangkok and relatively straightforward layout make it popular with budget travellers.
Terminals
Don Mueang has two active passenger terminals — Terminal 1 for international flights and Terminal 2 for domestic operations — connected by a walkway.

The airport is accessible by bus, taxi, and the SRT Red Line commuter rail, which links Don Mueang to Bangkok's Bang Sue Grand Station.
