Ngurah Rai International Airport is the primary international airport serving Bali, Indonesia, located in Kuta, Badung Regency, approximately 13 kilometres south of Denpasar. It is the third-busiest airport in Indonesia by passenger traffic and serves as a critical hub for tourism to the island. The airport underwent a major expansion in 2013 with the opening of a new international terminal, significantly increasing capacity ahead of the APEC Leaders' Summit held that year in Bali. The facility is named after I Gusti Ngurah Rai, a Balinese national hero who died fighting Dutch colonial forces in 1946. The airport is operated by PT Angkasa Pura I and handles both domestic and international flights, connecting Bali to dozens of destinations across Asia, Australia, the Middle East, and Europe.

The airport has one international terminal and one domestic terminal, with a combined capacity designed to handle over 25 million passengers per year.
