Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is Canada's second-busiest airport by passenger volume, serving the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area in British Columbia. Located on Sea Island in Richmond, approximately 13 kilometres south of downtown Vancouver, it handles tens of millions of passengers annually and serves as a key transpacific hub.
The airport is owned and operated by the Vancouver Airport Authority, a not-for-profit community-based organization. YVR has consistently ranked among the best airports in North America and has won multiple Skytrax awards for service quality and passenger experience.
YVR plays a critical role in Canada's trade and tourism economy, offering direct connections to destinations across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. It served as the primary aviation gateway during the 2010 Winter Olympics held in Vancouver and Whistler.

YVR has one main terminal building divided into a Domestic terminal, a U.S. transborder terminal, and an International terminal, all interconnected under one roof.
