Letňany Airfield

Letňany Airfield (ICAO: LKLT) is a small general aviation aerodrome located in the Letňany district of northern Prague, Czech Republic. It serves private and recreational flying rather than commercial airline operations, functioning primarily as a base for light aircraft, flight training, and sport aviation activities. The site is perhaps best known as the venue for the Prague Airshow, an international aviation exhibition that has attracted military and civilian aircraft displays. The airfield shares its broader area with the Letňany Exhibition Centre, one of the largest exhibition grounds in the Czech Republic, making it a hub for large public events. Due to its urban location within Greater Prague, Letňany operates under airspace restrictions and is not suitable for large commercial traffic. It remains an important facility for the local general aviation community.
