Piarco International Airport is the main international airport serving Trinidad and Tobago, located approximately 25 kilometres southeast of Port of Spain in the Piarco district. It is the busiest airport in the twin-island republic and serves as the primary hub for regional and international air travel. The airport handles a significant volume of traffic connecting the Caribbean with North America, South America, and Europe. It serves as the main base of operations for Caribbean Airlines, the national carrier of Trinidad and Tobago. A major modernisation and expansion project was completed in the early 2000s, significantly upgrading the terminal facilities and passenger capacity. Piarco is owned and operated by the Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago and plays a central economic role in the country's tourism and business sectors.

Piarco International Airport is an international airport serving the island of Trinidad and is one of two international airports in Trinidad and Tobago. The airport is 30 km (19 mi) east of Downtown Port of Spain, in the suburban town of Piarco. The airport is the primary hub and operating base for the country's national airline, as well as the Caribbean's largest airline, Caribbean Airlines.
