Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK/GMMX) is an international airport serving Marrakesh, Morocco's fourth-largest city and one of its most visited tourist destinations. Named after the nearby Menara Gardens, it is one of the busiest airports in Morocco, handling millions of passengers annually. The airport has undergone significant expansion and modernization to accommodate growing tourist and business traffic, including a major terminal upgrade completed ahead of the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations. It serves as a key entry point for visitors to southern Morocco, including the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert regions. Marrakesh Menara Airport is operated by the Office National des Aéroports (ONDA), Morocco's national airport authority. It connects Marrakesh to numerous European cities, North Africa, and the Middle East.
