Udon Thani International Airport (IATA: UTH, ICAO: VTUD) serves the city of Udon Thani in northeastern Thailand's Isan region. It is one of the busiest airports in the region, handling both domestic and international flights, and is operated by Airports of Thailand (AOT). The airport plays a significant role in connecting Udon Thani — a major commercial and tourism hub near the Laos border — with Bangkok and other Thai cities. Udon Thani is historically notable for its use as a major U.S. Air Force base during the Vietnam War era, and the airport's infrastructure reflects that legacy.
