Manohar International is genuinely one of the cleanest airports I have ever stepped into in India — the terminal feels fresh and well-maintained even during peak holiday season. WiFi connected quickly and held up well while I waited for my IndiGo flight to Mumbai. The food options are still a bit limited for such a new facility; I ended up settling for an overpriced sandwich from the only café near Gate 3. Staff were polite and helpful with directions though, which made the experience smoother.
The terminal building itself is stunning and spotlessly clean — very impressive for a brand-new airport. But the drop-off situation outside is honestly chaotic; our cab driver was confused about which lane to use and we ended up walking quite a distance with heavy luggage. Security queues were slow and the CISF personnel seemed a bit unsure of the new screening layout, so budget extra time before your flight. Hopefully the operational teething issues get sorted as the airport matures.
Flew out of Mopa last month for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how well-organized the security process was compared to the old Dabolim airport. Toilets were clean and well-stocked, no complaints there. My one big frustration is the food — there are barely two or three outlets in the departure area and the prices are highway robbery even by airport standards; I paid ₹320 for a vada pav and a tea. WiFi worked but dropped out a couple of times during my 90-minute wait, so keep your mobile data as backup.
