Malmö Aviation

Malmö Aviation was a Swedish regional airline that operated scheduled passenger services primarily between Swedish cities and select European destinations. Founded in the 1980s, the airline carved out a niche serving business travelers with a focus on comfort and punctuality on domestic routes. The airline operated primarily from Malmö Airport (later Malmö Airport/Sturup) and Stockholm Bromma Airport, offering a business-class-focused product on routes linking major Swedish cities. It was known for its high service standards relative to its size. Malmö Aviation ceased operations in 2019 after decades of service, unable to sustain profitability in an increasingly competitive Scandinavian aviation market. Its routes and some assets were absorbed by other carriers following its closure.
